Keeping naval platforms ready depends on logistics information that can be used across organizational and technical boundaries. The Navy’s logistics IT portfolio grew across separate systems, leaving duplicated capabilities and data that complicated integration and sustainment. Modernization had to address that fragmentation while supporting operations afloat and ashore. Sev1Tech’s Logistics IT Integration and Support effort set out to connect common capabilities and reduce duplication across the portfolio. For Bracari, the relevant challenge was the data and decision-support layer: making information useful to the people planning and managing logistics modernization.

On Sev1Tech’s team, Bracari provides data engineering, business intelligence and decision support for the Navy’s Logistics IT modernization effort. Our contribution addresses the information needed to understand the portfolio and inform decisions within a complex modernization program.
The wider effort brings logistics capabilities into an integrated system of systems. Its scope spans maintenance and repair, supply chain management, product lifecycle management, and shared data and integration services. Within that environment, data engineering and business intelligence connect technical information with the decisions program teams need to make.
Bracari’s role is focused on that connection. The purpose is to help decision-makers work from usable information as the Navy integrates common capabilities and manages change across legacy systems. This supports the program’s objective of delivering logistics capabilities to the fleet while reducing the burden of duplicated systems, services and data.
03
Bracari brings data engineering and decision-support capacity to a modernization effort with substantial operational reach. Sev1Tech’s October 2023 announcement described more than 200 systems and applications serving over 150,000 users afloat and ashore. The portfolio supports naval operations across ships, submarines, aviation squadrons and expeditionary forces. At that scale, usable information matters to coordinating change across a fragmented technology environment. Bracari contributes data and analytical capabilities to this effort, connecting technical delivery with the Navy’s broader logistics mission. These reach figures describe the prime-led program; they are not a count of systems or users directly supported by Bracari alone.
